Our team has been very busy at work this week getting the new release. Before we jump into the release notes, we want to extend a huge thank you to all community members for testing, and feeding back great ideas.

๐Ÿ”„ OTA Backend Update:

The API has been extracted to an external service for more efficient over-the-air (OTA) backend updates, ensuring smoother and faster updates to the system. This will allow for our team to continue improving code generation without interrupting service.

๐Ÿ†™ No More Forced Updates:

Starting from this version, forced version updates have been removed. Users can now choose when to update the application, providing greater control over the update process.

๐Ÿšซ Reduced Fail States:

We've reduced the occurrence of fail states, enhancing system stability and providing a more reliable user experience.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Increased Daily Limits:

The daily limit for lines of text has been raised, allowing users to generate more content within a single day.

๐Ÿ“‰ Decreased Prompt Limit:

We have decreased the prompt limit, offering users a more focused and concise writing experience.

๐Ÿ“š Privacy Policy Updates:

We've updated the privacy policy links to ensure compliance with the latest regulations and provide users with the most up-to-date information.

๐Ÿš€ Upgrade Screen Removal:

The upgrade version screen has been removed, streamlining the user experience and eliminating any unnecessary steps during the upgrade process.

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ File Picker Improvements:

Significant enhancements have been made to the contextual file picker, making it easier to select and manage files within the application.

โณ Prompt Time Limit:

We've implemented a hard limit on the time prompts can take, ensuring a more efficient and responsive generation process.

๐Ÿ”„ Model Reversion:

We have reverted to the get-4-32k model, which may offer improved performance and quality for certain tasks.

โž• Additional Repositories:

We have made progress on the Additional Repos feature, and this will be in the next release coming soon. Users will be able to add additional repositories, making the workflow way easier for many.

๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ Windows Signing:

We are still awaiting the much needed feature of Windows signing, ensuring compatibility and security for Windows users. This will also make sure auto-updates run on Windows. We will keep the community updated with this change.
